Accessibility
Our commitment
Atlas Indeed LLC wants this website to be usable by everyone, whatever device, assistive technology, or way of working you bring to it. No traveler should be left out of discovering a journey because of how a page was built.
The site is designed and built to follow the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we review new pages and features against those principles as they are added.
What is in place
The following measures are built into the site today:
- Every menu, form, and dialog can be reached and operated from the keyboard alone.
- Focus states are clearly visible, so you always know where you are on the page.
- The site respects your system’s reduced-motion setting. When it is on, animations stop and background films no longer play automatically.
- Images carry descriptive text for screen readers.
- Text reflows on small screens and at high zoom, so nothing is cut off or hidden.
- Every form field has a label that describes what it asks for.
- A text directory of destinations offers an alternative to the interactive globe, so every place we travel to can be browsed as a simple list.
Known limitations
We are open about where the experience is still uneven:
- The 3D globe is decorative navigation. Every destination it links to is also reachable from the Destinations menu and from the text directory, so nothing depends on the globe alone.
- Some background films are purely visual. They contain no audio, dialogue, or narration, so no captions are needed for them.
If you find another barrier that is not listed here, we would like to know about it.
