Listening and connection are integral aspects of travel. By mastering these skills, the ultimate reward of sharing experiences becomes even more fulfilling.
Carl Junior is the founder of Atlas Indeed, built on a lifelong commitment to exploration, cultural exchange, and thoughtful connection. His journey into global travel began unexpectedly, with a Mandarin course mistakenly added to his college schedule. That fortunate twist led him to study in Beijing and later to live in Taiwan for over a decade, where he became fluent in Mandarin, immersed himself in the local culture, and used Taiwan as a base to explore much of Asia and the world. Those formative years laid the foundation for a career of nearly 10 years in luxury travel.
