Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs
What is Atlas Indeed?
Atlas Indeed is a luxury travel-tech company that specializes in designing personalized itineraries featuring exclusive experiences, vetted guides, and luxury accommodations. Designed by in-house experts, Atlas Indeed trips are expertly curated, impeccably executed, and uniquely tailored to clients’ personal preferences.
How does Atlas Indeed work?
After sharing your travel plans by submitting a trip request or connecting with our travel team, you’ll be paired with an expert travel curator who will design a personalized itinerary with your exact specifications in mind. After discussing your plans, your curator will present you with a proposal, including a packaged trip price and booking details. At this point, you’ll confirm your reservation by paying the invoice provided. We will continue refining your plans with dining suggestions, reservations, and spa appointments up until your departure date. While you’re traveling, you’ll have 24/7 support from our team to ensure your travels are seamless.
What types of trips can Atlas Indeed organize?
No two itineraries are the same at Atlas Indeed. We design and book end-to-end trips including luxury accommodations, guided experiences, and all on-trip transportation – completely customized with your preferences in mind. Our trips have a minimum policy of 5 nights, allowing us to deliver the best possible journeys for our travelers, and do not include international flights.
How should I make the most of my experience with Atlas Indeed?
Tell us the specifics – we want to know your intended destination, timeline, and all of your travel preferences. Knowing your interests, likes, and dislikes helps us provide you with the best possible itinerary. We will work together to refine your plans until they’re absolutely perfect.
Can Atlas Indeed plan last-minute trips?
We consider trips with a departure date of 60 days or less to be last-minute. While we will certainly move mountains to accommodate our clients, our ability to do so depends on the availability at your chosen destination. Once we receive your request, we’ll quickly determine whether we’re able to move forward. Because last-minute requests require prioritization and prompt coordination with our trusted partners, a last-minute curation fee applies. Once collected, we begin curating your itinerary based on current availability. Last-minute trips require quick decision-making, and we rely on your engagement to secure the best possible itinerary efficiently.
Where is your team of curators based?
Our expert travel curators have over 20 years of collective experience in crafting exceptional itineraries. Given the global nature of our business, we’re based across the U.S., Asia, and Europe.
Can I curate my own hotels or use rewards points?
At Atlas Indeed, we plan end-to-end travel, meaning we handle all hotel, experience, and transportation bookings (excluding international flights). Our global hotel partnerships often include complimentary perks, upgrades, and added amenities – which is why we require booking hotels on your behalf.
What is Atlas Indeed’s approach to group travel?
We love planning travel for large groups. However, we do require that all group members adhere to the same itinerary – including the same destinations, hotels, and experiences.
Can I cancel a trip?
Our cancellation policies are outlined in full in our Terms and Conditions.
Does Atlas Indeed have a planning fee?
Atlas Indeed trips are custom made by our travel curators. The cost of this service is included in your overall package price and reflects the time spent creating and coordinating your itinerary, leveraging industry relationships across the globe, and continuously vetting hotels, experiences, restaurants, concierge services, and on-trip support. For trips booked within 30 days of departure, an upfront planning fee applies due to the urgency and limited availability. This fee is nonrefundable.
How much does a trip cost?
Every itinerary is crafted from scratch by Atlas Indeed’s expert curators based on your preferences and travel goals. Prices vary by location and level of customization. Generally, trips start from $500–$1,000 per person per day. This includes luxury accommodations, daily private experiences, all on-trip transportation and transfers, domestic flights, entrance fees, select meals, exclusive experiences, and full coordination with on-trip support. International long-haul flights, travel insurance, and tipping are not included.
What are the payment terms for booking my trip?
Payment terms vary by destination. To confirm your booking, a 50% deposit is collected. The remaining 50% is due 120 days prior to your departure. If your trip is within 120 days, full payment is required. Some destinations may require a larger deposit, which will be noted when your itinerary is presented.
Does Atlas Indeed provide a pricing breakdown of my itinerary?
Due to agreements with our trusted partners, we do not typically offer itemized pricing. Many services are offered via packaged pricing and are not publicly available or bookable online. In certain destinations, upon request, we may be able to provide a breakdown of accommodation costs that reflect published web rates.
How does Atlas Indeed make money?
Our revenue includes planning fees and commissions from booking hotels and experiences. These relationships allow us to offer our clients access to upgrades, perks, and premium offerings not available to the general public. We reinvest earnings to expand our offerings, build new partnerships, and develop exclusive experiences.
