Day 1: Welcome to South Africa!

Private Transfer

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport (CPT), you will be met at the door of your aircraft with your name on a paging board. Should your aircraft be directed to the apron and not the terminal building, you will be transported to the terminal by bus where your Meet and Greet will be waiting for you as you step off the bus. You will then be assisted through immigration, baggage collection and customs and on to your private car transfer.

Meet your driver in the arrivals hall for a private transfer to your hotel for check-in. This drive is approximately 30 minutes.

Cape Town

Cape Town is a true fan favorite, with its exciting Mediterranean vibe, amazing culinary scene, beautiful Cape Dutch architecture, thriving art community, and successful sports teams – all set to the backdrop of iconic Table Mountain and the turbulent waters of the Atlantic Ocean. It is no wonder it is called The Mother City. This vibrant, trendy city has broad appeal. Local attractions include Table Mountain, Robben Island, the V&A Waterfront, Bo-Kaap, boutique shops, numerous museums, wineries, and world famous restaurants. For those venturing beyond the city, the Cape Winelands and Cape Peninsula are a day trip away.

Cape Town’s rich cultural heritage dates back more than 300 years and its diversity is evident in the city’s architecture, art, and food. It is the second most populous city in South Africa and sits at the southwest tip of Africa.

Your Stay: Ellerman House

Situated in an expansive terraced garden between the Atlantic Ocean and the Lion’s Head, the Ellerman House hotel and its two adjoining exclusive-use villas offer the best of everything Cape Town has to offer. Whether in search of the comfort and luxury of the hotel’s classically-styled rooms and suites or the bold architecture and design of the more contemporary private villas, guests are invited to sink into the heartfelt hospitality and relaxed warmth that makes Ellerman House a home.

With only 13 bedrooms and two private contemporary villas, Ellerman House excels at offering guests an intuitive and understated level of service. Enjoy the spa, contemporary art gallery, wine gallery, wine and champagne cellar, brandy lounge, BAR ROC, library, dining rooms, lounges, guest pantry, solar-heated swimming pool, fitness center, and cascading terraces during your stay.

Expect to be dazzled by the kaleidoscope of indigenous fynbos on the summit, as well as the 360-degree views of the spectacular city below. Upon reaching the summit, take in the tremendous views. Day 3: Cape Peninsula and Whale Watching

Helicopter Tour
Escape to the quieter side of the Cape Peninsula. Where the mountains are engulfed by the sea, baboons temporarily cause traffic and penguins are dwarfed by the boulders they call home. Hop between the fishing villages as you slowly round the peninsula, the southwestern corner of Africa.

Revel in the history that has shaped this part of the country, as your private guide imparts insight of yesteryear. Experience local hideaways and steer clear of the crowds as we deftly navigate the showpieces of the city’s more laid-back corner.

There is no better way to appreciate the Cape’s fair beauty than from a bird’s eye-view helicopter tour. Fly over the Cape Peninsula and around Cape Point, the most south-west corner of Africa. We will end with a special landing at Millers Point where you’ll be met by your private guide and vehicle for the next leg of today’s adventure. Flight Time: About 30 minutes
